Plaster casting
This course is about learning to make a casting mould and casting the sculpture.
Apart from the "lost pattern" technique the wedge form and the casting with patterns will be demonstrated. At the end of the course the cast pieces of work can be patinated in order to obtain a bronze-like effect. This course offers the possibility to plaster cast the figures that have been produced in the previous nude modelling courses.
Course participants may also bring along moist clay figures for casting during this week's course
